On 27 February 2010, a devastating earthquake of moment magnitude 8.8 struck Chile. According to Chilean authorities, over 400 people were killed and more than 1.5 million were displaced by the earthquake. |

Our Response
The Catholic Church in Singapore responded with prayers and ACCT* made a contribution of S$14,095 (US$10,000) through Caritas Internationalis as a sign of solidarity among Catholics worldwide.
